I've spent 18 years in this industry. I started at the bottom and worked in almost every part of it.

This is where Refresh came from, what it stands for, and why I built it the way I did.

My first job in technology was as a network operations engineer — the person watching the screens, answering alerts, and keeping things running through the night. I was the one who picked up when something broke. I learned very quickly that when technology fails, it's never just a technical problem. It affects real people, real businesses, and real livelihoods. That lesson has never left me.

THE JOURNEY
​From the ground up

2007–2009 — Network Operations Engineer(Where it all began)

I started my career monitoring live global networks, resolving faults, and coordinating engineers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This is where I learned that technology only matters when it works — and what it costs when it doesn't.

2009–2016 — Deployment & Implementation Engineer

Hands-on installation and configuration of network infrastructure across global projects. Led enterprise rollouts across Europe worth up to £10M, including large-scale content delivery projects serving over 10 million users.

2016–2021 — Moving into management

Moved from technical delivery into service management and change programmes. Managed enterprise accounts worth £10M+, led cross-functional teams, and built the governance and planning skills that define how Refresh operates today.

2021–2022 — Telecom Programme Manager

Led fibre rollouts across 15 warehouses in the UK and Germany. Managed a £5M+ procurement budget and negotiated £750k in annual supplier savings — with full compliance and zero safety incidents.

2023–2025 — Head of Projects & Senior PM — Managed Services

Led a project management office delivering 300+ projects a year. Built delivery frameworks from scratch, developed internal teams, and improved performance against agreed service levels from 82% to 95%. This is where I saw first-hand what small businesses really needed and weren't getting.

2026 — Founded Refresh Technology Group

Built Refresh to do things properly. Simple, honest, managed technology for small businesses that deserve better than being handed off and forgotten.

WHAT REFRESH STANDS FOR

Three things I genuinely believe in.

Simplicity

Technology doesn't need to be complicated. If I can't explain what I'm doing and why in plain English, something's wrong. No jargon, no confusion — just clear answers.

Honesty

I'll tell you what you need, and just as importantly, what you don't. I'd rather lose a sale than oversell a service that doesn't fit your business. Always straight with you.

Accountability

When you work with Refresh, you work with me. I answer the phone, manage the work, and make sure things are done right. That's exactly how I like it.

Refresh is new. I won't pretend otherwise.

But the experience behind it isn't. Every service I offer, every process I follow, and every decision I make is built on 18 years of doing this work — in some of the most demanding environments in the industry.


I'm building Refresh the right way. Carefully, with a focus on doing excellent work for a small number of clients rather than chasing volume and cutting corners.
